Thanksgiving–a time to reflect on the countless blessings we have, gather around a dinner table with family and friends, drink too much and pig out. Strangely, we’ve acclimated to the holidays in Japan and had it not been the messages of “Happy Thanksgiving” sent from friends back in the States, we probably would have never known it was Thanksgiving weekend.
So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’d like to mention and post pictures of what I am most grateful for. First, my family. We’re a wacky bunch, but we’re full of surprises and I look forward to more adventures everyday.
I’m grateful for the friends we’ve made here and those abroad who make our lives here special.
Of course we miss family and friends back in the States and beyond, but knowing we will meet again one day, either in our neck of the woods or yours, makes our lives brighter. Sending much love this Thanksgiving weekend from our family to yours!
